Why we’re building this
Most Shopify stores end up renting their storefront. A sticky add-to-cart from one app, a popup from another, a free-shipping bar from a third, a mega menu from a fourth. Each one is a monthly subscription, a third-party script tag, a Lighthouse hit, and a vendor-lock-in risk.
The math is obvious once you add it up: a typical conversion app stack runs $150–250/mo, scripts make the site slower, and if any one vendor sunsets you lose the feature overnight.
modblo replaces the stack with native Liquid you paste into your theme. One purchase, lifetime updates, runs as fast as your theme runs. Cancel any app you want — the feature stays because the code is yours.

What we believe
You should own the code.
SaaS sections that disappear when you stop paying are a trap. Every modblo section is a Liquid file in your theme. Cancel anything — the section keeps working.
Performance is a feature.
Every premium section is graded 95+ Lighthouse before release. No third-party SDKs, no render-blocking scripts, no network requests beyond Shopify’s own.
Pricing should be sane.
Sections are priced cheaper than the apps they replace. Membership beats one-time purchase past a few sections. No per-store fees on Agency.
No vendor lock-in.
The code is plain Liquid + vanilla JS. Fork it, modify it, swap it out — there’s no proprietary runtime to be held hostage by.
